We want to welcome you to Robinson Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year! We are about to embark on a new year that will be filled with lots of exciting learning opportunities! We have been making plans for the return of our students and want you to know that we are committed to their academic and personal success while providing a safe environment. We believe great learning occurs when students are actively engaged and appropriately challenged. Our desire is that we will provide meaningful learning experiences and positive encouragement, so that each student can reach their full potential.
It is my absolute honor to be named the Principal of Robinson Elementary! I am a native of Forsyth County and a product of the Forsyth County School System. I am completing my 19th year in elementary education in which I spent 9 years as a teacher, 3 years as an academic coach, and 7 years as the assistant principal at RES. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Georgia, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. The last seven years, as a RES Tiger, have been such a joy and a blessing. I'm excited to continue to work hard to serve the community, students, staff, and parents at RES!
I am thankful to have Mr. Marc Bottoms join our RES family as the new assistant principal and I am very humbled to be named the new principal at Robinson Elementary School. Mr. Bottoms is extremely excited to be joining the Robinson family. He is a native of Forsyth County and an alumnus of Berry College, North Georgia College & State University (now UNG), and Piedmont University. He has spent thirteen years in the classroom in Dawson, Forsyth, and Gwinnett Counties. He is embarking on his first year as an administrator.
Robinson Elementary has a wonderful group of teachers and staff that are dedicated to serving our children. Together, we can ensure our students are nurtured and challenged so that each student achieves success!
