Hello, my name is Logan Allen. I am very excited to begin my 7th year as the physical education teacher here at Robinson! This is truly a special place, beginning with the students & staff and continuing throughout the entire community. I attended North Georgia College and graduated in 2010. I also recently finished up the master's program in health & physical education through UNG.

Prior to being hired in Dawson County, I worked in Hall County for 3 years as a PE paraprofessional. I love teaching physical education and helping the students work toward achieving their goals. My goal as a physical education teacher is to help students become active for their lifetime. In PE we promote a positive learning environment that allows children to have positive experiences with exercise and physical education. I believe that if students enjoy physical education and exercise that they will be more likely to stay active later in their lives.

I also coach at Dawson County High School. I am beginning my 7th season as varsity assistant/head JV softball coach. I am also the head coach for the boys varsity tennis team. This will be my 4th season with the tennis team.

New School Year 2020-2021
Hopefully everyone had a great summer and you all were able to get outside this summer and get some exercise! It is awesome to begin another school year in Physical Education. One of the big goals in physical education is to maximize participation time, while allowing all students to learn and have positive experiences in physical education. Students will learn and develop social skills, teamwork, locomotor skills, sports related skills, and so much more.
Physical Education

The goal for our Tiger Students is to acquire the means to lead a healthy, active lifestyle. Our class is designed to ensure that all students are successful.  Our objective is for each student to develop life-long habits of fitness and health. We have created a learning environment that fosters growth, enjoyment, and success for all of RES Tigers.

"Of all subjects taught in school, Physical Education is the only subject which, by the very nature of its content, has the potential to affect how a person will feel every moment of every day for the rest of his or her life"  ~ Allen Russell
