School Governance Nominations

Some of the current members of the Robinson Elementary Charter School Governance Council will complete their term in June 2019. We are calling for nominations to fill one (1) parent representative position for the next term (June 2019 through June 2021). Charter School Governance Council Training is required of all new members and can be completed in a short class or online. The council meets six (6) times during the year for approximately 60 minutes each meeting. The newly elected council will determine the date and time of those meetings.

        Nominations will be accepted through Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at 3 p.m. Please return nominations to your child’s homeroom teacher or the RES front office. Once all nominations are received, a ballot will be made and distributed to parents/stakeholders. Stakeholders may self-nominate or nominate others. Voting for openings will take place the week of May 6th in order to have new members named by end of the school year. Only interested parties should respond. If you have any questions or require more information, do not hesitate to contact the school or any of the council members listed above.
