My name is Amy Swafford. I began teaching at Robinson Elementary in 2001. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia. I earned my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade as well as PE. Currently, I serve as our EIP teacher. I work with multiple grade levels in reading, including teaching 4th and 5th grade advanced/gifted ELA.
My husband, Lanier, and I have two sons, Brendan and Bailey. I enjoy traveling with my family and spending time with Ruby, our Golden Retriever.
